In 2019, Johnny and Heather Kamphius noticed that their heat pump had a musty smell and discovered that it was full of mold and mildew! They learned that all heat pumps develop mold and mildew and that heat pumps require regular deep cleaning. After paying an outrageous fee for professionals to clean their units, and not being happy with the work, Johnny decided to launch Perfectly Clean to help other islanders get their heat pumps cleaned properly and at an affordable price.

Now, Kendall and Jenn Jennings have taken over Perfectly Clean. Kendall grew up next door to Johnny and moved back to PEI in 2024.
